The Massachusetts Convention Center Authority (MCCA) has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking an outside consultant to study development of the Convention Center Hotel. The main issue at stake is whether or not the hotel must be attached to the main facility (south of Summer St.) or whether the Convention Center Hotel can be developed on the north side of Summer St. per the demands of area South Boston residents.
