One of the best Boston Harbor viewing points along the Harborwalk will be privatized during the major SailBoston events.
A phone call to SailBoston Inc. has confirmed that access to Fan Pier (including the Harborwalk) during major SailBoston events in July will be for ticketholders only. According to the event promoter, some tickets are still available.
Access to pavilion on Fan Pier during the Grand Parade of Sail will cost $100.00 per person.
Access to the "Commodore's Yard" on Fan Pier will cost $55.00 per person.
According to the event promoter, no free public access for viewing will be allowed on the Fan Pier Harborwalk.
