The Boston Redevelopment Authority has issued a Request for Proposals seeking an Urban Planner who would be responsible for corralling the information and existing design work already completed towards completion of the South Boston Seaport District Master Plan.
The RFP, to be filled in mid-August, requests that the results of the consultant's work be published for release in October, 1998, giving the planner approximately a two-month window.
SAND has reviewed the RFP and has met with the BRA to discuss the ramifications of such a tight window of opportunity for input into the Urban Planner's analysis.
